To train and support the growing project management community, there are a range of programmes, sometimes with formal qualifications or professional accreditation that claim to educate the project managers of the future. Further support is available from a library of published text books, consultants tout their wares and the internet offers a wide range of resources that informs project management practise. Surely, this suggests that there is sufficient knowledge about projects and the ability to manage them effectively?
